Death investigation underway at hotel after drowning, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation at a hotel on International Drive.

Deputies said a woman drowned at the Clarion Hotel on Saturday.

First responders arrived on the scene and found the woman face down at the bottom of the pool.

CPR was administered, but firefighters said the woman was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The woman’s age and identity have not been released.

Deputies said this is an ongoing investigation.
