KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The search continues Wednesday for the driver in a hit-and-run accident that killed a bicyclist in Osceola County early Tuesday.
The Florida Highway Patrol and the Osceola County Sheriff's Office were at the scene of the crash on U.S. 192 and Locksley Lane near Poinciana Boulevard.
Troopers said Reyes Azamar, 51, was hit by the driver of a four-door Mazda 2006, who then fled on foot.

Investigators said Azamar was riding his bicycle in the bicycle lane on U.S. 192 when he was struck.
FHP said after hitting Azamar, the driver struck a light pole and then rear-ended a car.
"I seen a guy get hit on a bicycle because a person, instead of looking both ways, they were only watching one way. If you're not in control of your vehicle, you're going to cause something like this to happen," said witness Ruben Malpica.
Troopers said they have a vague description of the driver and believe the Mazda had bullet holes on the side of it.
FHP is investigating whether the Mazda was involved in a shooting, which could be why the driver ran, officials said.
Channel 9 has learned troopers have spoken to the owner of the vehicle, who they don’t believe was behind the wheel when the crash happened.
"We are in contact with the registered owner, who is an older man," Sgt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol said. "The driver was described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, so we do not believe the registered owner is the driver. However, that registered owner is cooperating with us."
Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
