Oviedo veterinarian accused of drugging, molesting teen girl, police say

An Oviedo veterinarian is behind bars after police say he drugged and raped a teenage girl in his home three years ago.
Scott Langton, 42, faced a judge on a charge of sexual battery, court records show.
According to his arrest affidavit, the victim said Langton had hired her to “pick the kids up from school and fold laundry” when he gave her medication to help with an injury she had.
The victim said she didn’t know what the medicine was, but she said it “caused her vision and awareness to become hindered” and that’s when he raped her, the affidavit states.
The victim said “she didn't think twice about taking the medication Langton gave her because he has treated her horse and she trusted him.”
Langton was arrested in January in Seminole County for allegedly driving under the influence.
Deputies said he wrecked his BMW and tried getting witnesses to drive him away from the scene.
He’s being held in the Orange County Jail on $15,000 bail.
