Parramore family searching for disabled man missing since Valentine's Day

PARRAMORE, Fla. — A 23-year-old Parramore man has been missing since Valentine’s Day when he was last seen at City View Apartments, his family said.

Trayvon Wallace is disabled and has the mental capacity of a child but has always had his twin brother there to take care of him, family members said.

On Valentine’s Day, Trayvon and his twin Rayvon Wallace went to the apartment complex and while there Rayvon was arrested and charged with loitering.

In the midst of the chaos, Trayvon went missing and no one has seen him since, his step-father Rashon Johnson said.

“I want him back, I need him back,” Johnson said. “We need him back.”

Trayvon’s family said the man knows how to get home if he is somewhere nearby, but after a month they worry that he may not be close, could be in danger or worse.

“We checked the morgues, jails, hospitals, everywhere,” his aunt, Jeanette Wallace, said.

Johnson said it wouldn’t be difficult for someone to lure Trayvon away and he worries that might be what happened.

“He’s very gullible,” Johnson said. “Somebody probably offered him candy, junk food – he’d probably go that direction but we’ve put it in his head plenty of times, don’t go with strangers.”
