OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A 60-year-old man was killed early Tuesday after being hit by a car while crossing U.S. 192 at Seven Dwarves Lane in Osceola County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The man, who was not named, was hit at about 1:57 a.m. by a Chevy Malibu driven by Alex Milian, 31, of Middleburg, FHP said.
Milian was driving west on U.S. 192 when the pedestrian started crossing the road, troopers said.
The driver swerved into the middle lane to miss the man, but couldn’t move away in time and hit the pedestrian, FHP said.
Milian and two passengers in his car were not injured.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
