Police: Seminole High School student stabbed to death outside Sanford apartment complex

A Seminole High School student was stabbed to death Tuesday in a Sanford apartment complex, police said.
Police said Kaleb Rabun, 16, was stabbed at the Stonebrook Apartments near State Road 417.
Police said they are speaking to three witnesses, all teenage boys, to figure out what led to a fight that ended with the stabbing.
Rabun got into an altercation with several other people in the parking lot of the complex and was stabbed once in the chest, police said.
Rabun and the witnesses do not live in the complex, but police said the teenagers know people in that area.
“It was some type of altercation again that the young man had a problem with a few of the individuals that were there. Consequently, he was stabbed,” said Ronny Neal, of the Sanford Police Department.
Police have notified the school board and are working to have resources available for students and faculty who may be grieving the loss of the teenager.
No arrests have been made.
