Polk County brothers arrested on child pornography charges

LAKELAND, Fla. — Two brothers who live with their mother were arrested on charges of possession of child pornography, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

Brian James Craft, 29, and Thomas James Craft, 30, were arrested Thursday.

Brian Craft is charged with 22 counts of possession of obscene material depicting child. His brother is charged with 16 counts of possession of obscene material depicting child.

Detectives said their investigation started when they found that child pornography was being downloaded and distributed from two computers at the men's Lakeland home.

Investigators said they served a search warrant at the home and seized the computers that were used to distribute images and movies depicting children in sex acts.

Both men admitted to downloading and distributing the image on their individual computers, according to investigators.

The two were booked into the Polk County Jail
