Report: Man responds online to 'father' offering daughter for sex, arrested in undercover sting

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Ten people were arrested in a joint undercover child sex sting in Osceola County, including a man who thought he had made a deal to have sex with a man’s 14-year-old daughter, deputies said.

Instead of meeting the girl and her father, who was actually an undercover investigator, Kevin Juan Roman, 23, was greeted by sheriff’s deputies and arrested, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said.

"How disgusting.  I mean it's just disgusting.  It really is," said neighbor Brenda Elliott.

The sting happened Sunday at an undisclosed location in Osceola County, Roman’s arrest report said.

Roman, who lives in Poinciana, initially responded online to a man supposedly advertising his teen daughter for sex on Craigslist, investigators said

Roman identified himself as a 23-year-old man and “initiated a conversation regarding sex with the undercover persona’s daughter,” the report said.

"Very graphic charging affidavits," said Twis Lizasuain of the Osceola county Sheriff’s Office.

They agreed to meet, and Roman was arrested when he arrived at about 9:38 p.m., deputies said.

“He said while driving to the meeting location, he thought about punching the father in the face and throwing the condoms at him,” the report said. “But he admitted to the fact that if given the opportunity, he would have had sex with the 14-year-old.”

Roman was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex, attempted lewd and lascivious battery and criminal conspiracy.

"There's no reason for that.  You're a grown man.  Go to a club.  Go to a bar.  Just leave the kids alone," said Elliott.

Two men have ties to Disney.  Saurabh Agrawal, 32, was a contracted employee.  Royston Khadaroo, 44, is a cast member, who Disney said was placed on unpaid leave.

"All of them have been charged with traveling to meet a minor for sex, and then most of them are charged with attempted lewd and lascivious battery,” Lizasuain said.
