Troopers investigating fatal crash in rural south Osceola County

YEEHAW JUNCTION, Fla. — Troopers are responding to a fatal crash that occurred in Osceola County Sunday afternoon, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. on State Road 60 about six miles west of Peavine Road, troopers said.

The crash involves at least two cars, with one person dead at the scene, troopers said.

Troopers are still working to determine the total number of injuries.

State Road 60 is blocked in the area and troopers are urging drivers to seek alternate routes.
