ORLANDO, Fla. — University of Central Florida police released body camera video of their search outside Pulse nightclub the morning of the shootings.
The video also shows officers with the K-9 unit searching around the hospital and the surrounding buildings along Orange Avenue.
UCF police released several other body camera videos documenting how their officers responded to the mass shooting that night, as gunman Omar Mateen opened fire inside the club, killing 49 people and injuring dozens of others.
The video shows the search for possible bombs around the nightclub.
A K-9 first looked around parts of Pulse and then made its way down the street to Orlando Regional Medical center.
The officer and the K-9 searched the parking lot.
Another K-9 and officer searched Southern Nights, another gay club that was already closed at that point.
The video shows the K-9 hopping on top of the bar and searching behind it.
At one point, the K-9 became too exhausted, and another was brought out to help.
That K-9 did find a suspicious person hiding behind a building.
Officers said they turned that person over to Orlando police.
