CENTRAL FLORIDA, Fla. — Hundreds of veterans across the U.S. took advantage of free dental care Saturday.
All 450 Aspen Dental locations nationwide offered free dental service during their annual Day of Service event.
More than a million veterans lack dental insurance, according to Aspen Dental.
The event was the largest dental health initiative for veterans so far in 2017.
"It's fantastic because nowadays dental work or anything is a fortune; it saves me a ton of money," said veteran Melvin Alvarez.
This is the fourth year Aspen Dental has hosted the free event for veterans.
