Video released showing Orange County homicide victim before death

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Detectives have released video in connection with the death of a woman who was found dismembered in Orange County.

Ethel Shannon McCarson’s body was found April 6 in a wooded area near Old Winter Road and John Young Parkway.

Video was released Tuesday showing 42-year-old McCarson at a Greyhound Bus Depot on North John Young Parkway.

McCarson walks through the station wearing a sleeveless shirt, a scarf and a bag slung across her body.

Her hair is pulled back in a bun.

In a second video from that day, McCarson is walking outside the station, where she talks to a woman before walking away.

Detectives said they would like to talk to that person about McCarson, but stress that the woman is not a person of interest in the case.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS. There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
