OCALA, Fla. — Ocala police said tips helped them identify the woman who allegedly stole boxed wines from a Publix, while only wearing a shirt and slippers, as 35-year-old Desiree Taylor.
Police said surveillance video shows Taylor walking into the Publix on Southwest College Road in Ocala and grabbing two boxes of wine.
When a store manager approached her, she ran away with the wine.
Detectives have put out a warrant for Taylor’s arrest on charges of theft, resisting a merchant and disorderly conduct.
