White House: June jobs report promising

CENTRAL FLORIDA — There's good news about the U.S. economy Friday.

White House officials said the June jobs report shows signs of recovery.

Last month, 195,000 jobs were added.

The unemployment rate remained at 7.6 percent, but analysts believe that's because more people started looking for work.

The average hourly pay rate also rose by 10 cents last month.
