TAVARES, Fla. — The wife of Tavares Mayor Robert Wolfe was arrested early Saturday, jail records showed.
Sharon Wolfe, 45, was arrested in Tavares by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at about 1 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office website said.
Wolfe was booked into the Lake County Detention Center shortly before 2:30 a.m. on the following charges: aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and obstruction of a 911 call.
She’s being jailed on a $2,000 bond.
In 2010, Sharon Wolfe was arrested on drunken-driving and hit-and-run charges.
In 2011, she was arrested twice on drug charges.
Wolfe has been mayor since 2009, the city’s website said.
The couple has been married since 1993, state records showed.
