Winter Park Health Foundation announces new health center

A new health center is coming to Winter Park.

The Winter Park Health Foundation announces it will partner with Florida Hospital to build The Center for Health and Wellbeing .

The 80,000-square-foot building will be constructed adjacent to Winter Park Memorial Hospital and will feature three key components for Winter Park citizens; fitness, wellness and medicine.

The wellness component will hold prevention an education classes in two conference rooms, while the fitness component will feature weights, exercise equipment and two pools.

The medicine area will be anchored by Florida Hospital, which will occupy 15,000-square-feet of the facility.

“We want to keep people well. We want to help out citizens to lice the healthiest, fullest life. We want to be there for you in sickness and in health,” said Vice President of Winter Park Memorial Hospital Jennifer Wandersleben.

The center is expected to open at the end of 2018.
