Workforce Connection Meet and Greet recruiting sessions

OCALA, Fla. — Workforce Connection will hold two "Meet and Greet" recruiting sessions on Monday, Sept. 17, and Wednesday, Sept. 19 for anyone interested in careers with the new HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Ocala.

The sessions take place by appointment only and will be held at the College of Central Florida's University Center, 3001 S.W. College Road, in Ocala. HealthSouth plans to hire 75 during the first round of staffing, and has openings for the following:

·               Admissions assistants

·               Cooks

·               Environmental services

·               Pharmacy technicians

·               Physical therapists

·               Occupational therapists

·               PTAs, COTAs, RNs and LPNs

·               Rehabilitation nursing technicians

·               Speech pathologists

·               Unit secretaries

The Alabama-based corporation is the nation's largest owner and operator of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in terms of revenues, number of hospitals, and patients treated and discharged. HealthSouth operates 99 hospitals in 27 states across the country and in Puerto Rico.

The Ocala hospital on Southwest 19th Avenue Road is scheduled to open later this fall.
