LAKE CITY, Fla. — Several kilos of cocaine were found on two JetBlue planes in Florida last week.
Columbia County Sheriff's Office said 3 kilos of cocaine were found when the passenger planes, which fly domestic and international, were brought to Lake City for service.
Employees at Haeco, a company that refurbishes planes, found the cocaine in the wall of a luggage compartment below the right wing and turned it over to deputies.
Deputies said one plane had flown from Dominican Republic to JFK in New York.
The itinerary of the second plane is not known.
