A bullet grazed the man's head in the incident on I-20 in Arlington, KDFW reported. His wife and two 3-year-old children witnessed the shooting.

Arlington police Lt. Chris Cook said one driver had aggressively tried to pass another vehicle, when the slower car was sideswiped, the television station reported.

The two cars pulled over, and the man in the slower vehicle prepared to exchange insurance information. The other driver exited his vehicle and fired angrily, WFAA reported.

Cook said the man's wife told police the shooter kicked at their car, that their mirror was damaged, and the man was banging on the window, before pulling out the gun,” the television station reported.

"Very scary ordeal. The wife reported to us that her husband couldn't even have an opportunity to explain what was going on because the suspect was just so aggressive and mad," Cook told KDFW. "So it went down so quick."

The victim was rushed to Medical Center Arlington and was later released, Cook said.

Police said the shooter is still at large. They said he is believed to be driving a white or silver BMW hatchback with damage to the driver's side, the television station reported.
