United Way's Womens Leadership Luncheon

WFTV - Channel 9 Family Connection is proud to sponsor the United Way Women's Leadership Luncheon on Wednesday, March 12th at 11:30am in the Rosen Centre Hotel.

The Heart of Florida United Way Women's Leadership Council works with the Central Florida Community to address critical problems that disproportionately affect women and children. This year the council will largely focus on Building Safe Communities Through Education. Speaking at this year's luncheon is Erin Gruwell, author of the New York Times #1 bestseller, "The Freedom Writers Diary." Gruwell plans to share how she inspired a group of at-risk students to change themselves and the world around them. The Women's Leadership Luncheon offers a great opportunity to network with some of the most influential women leaders in Central Florida and hear an uplifting story about the transformative power of education!
