Samantha Manning

Samantha Manning joined Channel 9 Eyewitness News in September 2016. Samantha came to Orlando after working as an investigative reporter at our sister station WJAX/WFOX in Jacksonville, Florida.
During her time in Jacksonville, Samantha covered the 6-month search for missing toddler Lonzie Barton and the tragic discovery of his body. She investigated the sinking of cargo ship El Faro, which led to the deaths of 33 crew members, and pored through financial records for the Jacksonville-based Wounded Warrior Project after a whistleblower accused the nonprofit of misspending charitable donations.
