PALM BAY, Fla. — Two people were injured Monday morning when a moving truck crashed on Interstate 95 in Palm Bay, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash was reported shortly before 7:45 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95 near mile marker 175, Sgt. Kim Montes said.

"A moving truck suffered a tire-tread separation, struck a guard rail and overturned," Montes said. "There is a fuel leak."

Traffic was being diverted onto Palm Bay Road Northeast, troopers said.

The road reopened later in the afternoon.
