Deep tropical moisture to bring higher storm coverage this weekend

Friday evening satellite and radar

On Friday, clouds kept the high temperatures in the upper-80s inland and in the mid-80s along the coast.
A weak tropical disturbance, with no chance of tropical development, continues to develop lots of clouds across most of Central Florida, with showers focusing along the coast.

Our models showed the tropical moisture surging in from a tropical wave which pass over Puerto Rico on Wednesday and forecast to arrive today and bring us a wetter than normal weekend.

NEXT TROPICAL WAVE

Deep tropical moisture will continue to move northward, but linger around close enough (across northern Florida) to bring slightly than normal shower and storm activity through the middle of next week.
