Hurricane Irma: School make-up days

Brevard County

Missed classes will not be made up for students.

Lake County schools will cancel its early release on Dec. 18, Dec. 19, Dec. 20, May 22, May 23 and May 24.

Classes will now be held March 30.

Orange County students missed six days of school due to Hurricane Irma.

The superintendent waived two days and state education officials also waived two days, so students will only need to make up two days.

The make-up days are Oct. 27 and Nov. 20.

Seminole County

Seminole County students missed a total of six days of school due to the storm.

The superintendent waived two days and state officials waived two as well, so students will only need to make up two days.

The make-up days are Oct. 16 and Oct. 17.
