ORLANDO, Fla. — Five people were inside an Orlando church when a driver lost control of their car and slammed into the building leaving a trail of damage in their wake, according to the Orlando Fire Department.
The crash happened on West Par Street around 9 p.m. at the St. Phillip Phan Van Minh Catholic Church.
Firefighters said no one inside the church was injured, but the driver and passenger inside the car were extricated from the vehicle and both taken to the hospital as trauma alerts.

The out-of-control car took out part of the church sign and cracked a pillar.
