48 arrested in Seminole County crime crackdown

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Seminole County deputies arrested 48 people during a crime crackdown.

Deputies said the alleged crooks targeted businesses and homes.

Authorities said they were mainly targeting drunken drivers, retail thieves and burglars during the 10-day operation.

Deputies said two others were busted with fake gift cards, stolen credit cards and skimming devices.

One woman was arrested for allegedly stealing $1,700 in bras.

Investigators said they also kept an eye on neighborhoods that have been targeted by burglars, which led them to arrest three men, who crashed into a wall last week while they were allegedly trying to steal Christmas presents from a house in Maitland.
