FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — For the second time in one week, a man was arrested Wednesday after pointing a laser at the Volusia County Sheriff’s Air One helicopter, deputies said.

Around 11 p.m., deputies said they were assisting the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office on a search for a man who “bailed out following a traffic stop on Palm Harbor Parkway.”

Shortly after the helicopter arrived overhead, the crew began to get hit with a laser from a nearby home on Chelsea Court.

Air One was able to tell Flagler deputies where the laser was coming from.

Deputies said Gregory Marr, 60, was taken into custody and charged with pointing a laser at a driver or pilot.

Air One was able to assist Flagler deputies with the bailout. That man was found laying in the wood line near a retention pond. He was taken into custody.
