Grief counselors offer victims, residents services after Orlando nightclub shooting

ORLANDO, Fla. — An organization is offering Central Florida residents counseling services after a mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub Sunday morning left 50 people dead and 53 injured.

The Heart of Florida United Way is offering emotional support to anyone who seeks it.

Residents interested in receiving counseling can call 211 or text zip code to 898-211.

Family members who are concerned their relatives are among the dead or injured may call 407-246-4357.

A family assistance center has been set up at the Hampton Inn & Suites at 43 Columbia St.
