ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Malls. Shopping centers. Tourist attractions. Downtown on a Friday night – virtually empty.
Friday was the first full day of two-week stay-at-home in Orange and Osceola counties.
“It seems like everyone is listening and are complying with the stay-at-home order,” Miglio said.
Eyewitness News joined Orlando Police Department for an hour Friday while Lt. Wanda Miglio responded to calls.
There were two, but neither had to do with someone possibly violating the new stay-at-home order.
Orlando police as well as sheriff’s offices in Orange and Osceola counties have said they’re not looking to arrest anyone, but people could face a $500 fine for violating the order.
So far, no fines have been issued.
