ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police are investigating a deadly crash that happened on I-4 Sunday afternoon.
That crash happened around 2 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-4 near Conroy Road.
Investigators said an eastbound driver crossed the median and hit an oncoming vehicle head-on.
The drivers' identities have not been released by police.
According to police, the driver who crossed the median was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver who was hit was transported to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition, police said.
The crash caused a traffic mess for drivers for several hours following the crash. The area has since been cleared and traffic is back to normal.
