Reps help residents sign up for health care

ORLANDO, Fla. — Representatives from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services were in Orlando on Sunday to help residents sign up for affordable health care.

Officials held an informational session and enrollment event at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church until 4 p.m. Sunday.

The Obama administration is continuing efforts to move beyond the problematic rollout of the Healthcare.gov website by holding events to help enroll individuals.

Dr. Richard Wild, a chief medical officer with CMS, was one of the guest speakers discussing the Affordable Care Act at Sunday's event.
