Surveillance video shows pajama-wearing burglar in Super Target smash-and-grab

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Osceola County detectives released surveillance video Thursday of a smash and grab at a Kissimmee Super Target, in hopes of catching the thief.

In just 90 seconds, the burglar was in and out of the Kissimmee Super Target with thousands of dollars worth of electronics in tow.

Several security cameras, both inside and outside, caught most of his moves right down to when he broke through a glass door, but what really caught the attention of investigators was the thief’s clothing.

Surveillance video shows the thief wearing pajama pants and a black sweatshirt.

“It was very distinctive and that’s why detectives really wanted to get this video out to the public -- hoping that someone recognizes him or the clothing he was wearing,” said Twis Lizasuain of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

A witness called 911 when he saw a car pull up in front of the store around 12:30 that morning.

“He heard what he thought was glass breaking,” said Lizasuain.

Detectives worked since the incident happened March 16, but were still looking for the burglar.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
