SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. — Two men were shot after getting into a fight early Saturday in Lake Panasoffkee, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies said the two men appeared to have gotten into a fight around 1 a.m. when one of the men showed up at the other’s home off County Road 426-A with a gun.
During that fight, the two men shot each other multiple times, deputies said.
The two men are listed in stable condition.
The two men were airlifted to Ocala Regional Medical Center. Deputies described their injuries as not life-threatening.
The shooting is still under investigation.
