A report of a weapon on campus prompted a police presence Friday at St. Cloud Middle School.
Police said a parent called the school principal and said a student overheard a group of students Thursday in the cafeteria talking about a weapon.
Officers searched the school Friday morning before buses arrived.
Nothing suspicious was found.
