Basically, three essential elements work together under the hood of an electric car to ensure it performs at maximum capacity. An electric motor powers the car, obviously. You'll also find a controller, which helps to transfer power stored in the battery back into the motor. Finally, you'll find a rechargeable battery – this is key. The battery is essential for charging your electric car so it can efficiently get you from point A to point B. It holds the juice that keeps the motor running!
