A cool start to the day will give way to warmer temperatures Thursday afternoon.

Temps will start out in the low to mid 60s Thanksgiving morning in Central Florida.

With temperatures expected to climb into the low 80s Thursday, shorts and short sleeves should be ideal for your holiday attire.

Meteorologist Rusty McCranie says mostly clear skies and sunshine should prevail throughout the day.

Looking ahead, temperatures will be much cooler next week as a front is expected to move through.

High temperatures could be in the low 60s for most of the week.
