Deputies: Arrest made in homicide at Oak Harbor apartments

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A 17-year-old has been arrested for the death of an Orange County man outside an apartment complex.

Gary Christopher Harris has been charged with second-degree murder and robbery, deputies announced Friday.

Deputies said Harris walked around the entrance of the Oak Harbor apartment complex on Harbor Chase Circle on Monday night as several vehicles drove by.

Harris attacked the victim, Andreus Mondestin, 45, in a driveway that leads into the complex,deputies said.

Deputies found Mondestin on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

He died on the way to the hospital.

Detectives released surveillance video of the shooting Thursday.

Deputies have not released a motive in the shooting.
