Man beaten outside Orlando bar dies

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orange County deputies are searching for the man who beat and killed a man outside George’s Hideaway on Edgewater Drive in Orlando.

The beating happened two weeks ago outside the bar and Kevin Dunn died Sunday.

Dunn tipped the bartender and walked out of the bar. A man who is accused of beating Dunn picked up the tip and walked outside, deputies said. The two got into an argument, which turned physical. Dunn fell and hit his head and later died, deputies said.

Bar staff told deputies the man has never been in before and they don't know his name. That's why deputies hope the public can help identify him.

A friend of Dunn's told Channel 9's Lauren Seabrook that Dunn bought the man a drink earlier in the night before the beating.
