MARION COUNTY, Fla. — A motorcyclist died Friday morning after he collided with a bear on a road in Marion County, state troopers said.
The crash happened just after 11 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 40 and State Road 19 near the Ocala National Forest.

Investigators said the man hit the bear in the westbound lane and flew off his motorcycle.
He later died at the hospital.

Troopers said the man was not wearing a helmet.
Investigators said the bear also died following the crash.
No other details were available.
