Semi hauling frozen turkeys catches fire in Seminole County

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A semitruck fire along Interstate 4 in Seminole County caused major delays early Thursday morning.

According to the Seminole County Fire Department, the semitruck, which carrying 10,000 frozen turkeys, caught fire just after 4:30 a.m.

Two lanes of I-4 westbound near state Route 417 were shut down while crews worked to put out the fire.

Officials said there were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
