SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Hurricane Matthew caused flooding and road obstructions in more than 400 spots in Seminole County, the county said Friday.
Officials encouraged motorists to err on the side of caution should they encounter standing water in the county's roadways.

In addition to flooding, road instructions included fallen trees and power lines.
County leaders urged residents to treat traffic signals that weren't functioning as four-way stops.

In Altamonte Springs, the lake at Cranes Roost Park swelled, causing the water level to rise.
Raised walkways that typically trace the lake were fully submerged Friday.
Residents who spot road hazards are asked to call the county's citizen information line at 407-665-0000.
