BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Following a late-night scrub early Friday morning, NASA and SpaceX are gearing up for its next launch window of Crew-7.

Crew-7 will lift off at 3:27 a.m. on Saturday.

3:35 a.m. update: Crew-7 successfully blasted off from Cape Canaveral early Saturday morning following a scrub that postponed it by a day.

2:50 a.m. update: The crew access arm has retracted.
The crew access arm has now been retracted from the @SpaceX Dragon spacecraft ahead of the #Crew7 launch.

2:10 a.m. update: The Dragon’s hatch has closed a few hours ahead of the Crew-7 launch.

1 a.m. update: The crew officially arrived on Launch Complex 39A earlier ahead of boarding the Dragon.
The Dragon supporting this mission previously carried Crew-3 and Crew-5 to the @space_station and has spent over 300 days in space to date

9:30 p.m. update: As of 9:30 p.m., the weather for the launch was 95% favorable, SpaceX tweeted.

Officials indicated there were a couple of open technical items that required a bit more analysis, so they made the decision to stand down for 24 hours.

The Crew-7 members include NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, European Space Agency astronaut Andreas Mogensen, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Satoshi Furukawa, and Russian cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov.
Crew-7 will use a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft to reach the International Space Station.
The Crew-7 launch will be the third crewed launch of the year from Florida’s Space Coast.

The research for Crew-7 includes a study of human response to different spaceflight durations as part of their 6-month science mission.
