Police: Man killed, woman & child injured in Orlando shooting

ORLANDO, Fla. — A woman and child were injured and a man died following a shooting Tuesday evening, according to Orlando police.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. in the 1100 block of Poppy Avenue near South Kirman Road and Raleigh Street. The woman and child were found with gunshot injuries and transported to the hospital.

Police said the woman and child are in critical condition.

Investigators said a man believed to be involved in the shooting was dropped off at a hospital where he died.
