Smyrna Dunes Park is located at 2995 North Peninsula Avenue in New Smyrna Beach at the northern tip of the New Smyrna Beach peninsula. Smyrna Dunes allows man’s best friend to enjoy the amenities, but pets must always be leashed.
The beautiful 73-acre park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., except during Daylight Saving Time, when the hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Admission is $10 per vehicle and a $20 annual inlet parks pass.
Flagler Beach allows leashed dogs on the beach between north of 10th Street and south of 10th Street only. Parking is available off of A1A on any side street. Leashes should be 8 feet long or shorter. Owners are asked to bring their own doggie bags and water.
Old Salt Park is a beachfront park in the Ocean Hammock Resort, located at 22 16th Road East in Palm Coast, 32137. Hours are dawn to 11 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The area is also a great spot to watch for whales!
Canova Beach Park has many amenities to offer. The 9.1-acre dog-friendly beach is located at 3299 North Hwy A1A in Indialantic in Brevard County. Dogs must be on a leash and wear their up-to-date tags, showing their current license and vaccinations.
There is no cost to use the dog beach, but owners must pick up after their pets.
Waste bags and proper receptacles are available.
Cocoa Beach welcomes dogs in designated areas, between 4th Street South and the north side of Murkshe Park. Owners are asked to clean up after their dog, and can dispose of the waste at disposal points available at the pet-friendly entrance.
While dogs must be on a leash under six feet in the designated areas mentioned above, the dog park at nearby Lori Wilson Park is a leash-free area only in the dog park, not Lori Wilson Beach.
Dogs are permitted on the designated areas from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. during Standard Time, and 9 p.m. during Daylight Saving Time.
