2 injured in shooting at funeral for teen killed in Brevard County deputy-involved shooting

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting Saturday that happened during the funeral service for Sincere Pierce, who was killed in a shooting involving Brevard County Deputies this month.

Deputies were called to Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery around 2:30 p.m. for reports of shots fired.

Two people identified only as a male and female were injured, according to the sheriff’s office.

Brevard County detectives are actively investigating what happened. They have not identified a possible suspect.

18-year-old Sincere Pierce and 16-year-old Angelo Crooms were both killed Friday, November 13 in a shooting involving Brevard County deputies as they were following up on an investigation into a potentially stolen car.

That case is still under investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
