ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orlando man is in jail, accused of opening fire at an apartment complex and injuring two people.
Officers responded to the 800 block of South Ivey Lane just before 3 p.m. Monday for reports of gunfire.

They arrived to find one victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was treated on scene and declined to provide a sworn statement to investigators, but told officers he never saw who shot him and didn’t hear anything because he was wearing headphones, court records say.
While interviewing the first victim, police say they were flagged down by another witness who said her nephew was also shot.
The second victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical center to be treated and was interviewed by officers there. He explained he had heard the shots but also didn’t see who’d shot him.

A third shooting victim told police she was lying down when a bullet entered her apartment through a window, causing an estimated $1,200 dollars in damage.
Police eventually made contact with a third witness who said he was hanging clothes to dry on a fence when he saw the second victim walking and a man he knew as “Ron” standing on the balcony of another apartment shooting at him.
A security guard at the complex was able to identify the occupant of the apartment for police as 41-year-old Ronald McIntosh.

The same witness who pointed police to McIntosh’s apartment also identified him in a photo lineup as the shooter.
McIntosh was booked into the Orange County jail Tuesday on charges that include attempted murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
He’s being held there on no bond.
