VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Volusia County deputies arrested two suspected thieves after the victims set up their own sting operation.
Cori Bathjer and Charles Weller were arrested Sunday for stealing two dirt bikes in May.
Deputies say the owners of the stolen bikes recently saw them for sale in an online advertisement on the website Craigslist.
Some friends of the victims posed as potential buyers, took the bikes for a test drive and brought them straight to deputies.
