OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — An Osceola County man was arrested Tuesday on an outstanding warrant after deputies said he barricaded himself in a home with two other adults and two children.
Deputies said they had warrants out for the arrests of Tiara Banks and Craig Parham on charges of scheme to defraud. Deputies said they were able to arrest Banks following a traffic stop on Tuesday without issue.
But when they tried to contact Perham at the home on Rob Way in Buena Ventura Lakes, deputies said he refused to come out and began to barricade the windows and doors.
SWAT team members and negotiators were called to the scene, and deputies said an hour and a half later, just before noon, Perham surrendered peacefully.
Deputies said no one was injured and the home was secured.
Banks was arrested for the scheme to defraud warrant and was transported to the Osceola County Jail where she is being held on a $2,500 bond.
Parham was arrested on the same charges, and is being held on a $1,000 bond. Deputies said Parham also has an additional warrant out of Sarasota.
