SAINT CLOUD, Fla. — The Saint Cloud Police Department is looking for a man who they say had cocaine and Xanax in his system at the time of a crash that killed a pedestrian on Old Canoe Creek Road just north of West New Nolte Road in Osceola County (see map) in July 2009.
Officers have a warrant for DUI manslaughter out for David Jonathan Lanier. Results of an analysis showed the presence of cocaine and the prescription drug Xanax in Lanier's blood when he struck Richard Klose with his vehicle, killing him.
The Saint Cloud Police Department has tried to make contact with Lanier to arrest him, but have not been able to find him.
