CASSELBERRY, Fla.,None — Beware the pizza delivery if you didn't order it. Two pizza delivery men showed up at a Casselberry home, then pulled guns and robbed the woman inside. It happened off Lake Drive near Tuskawilla Road.
A composite sketch released Thursday includes the Pizza Hut uniform one of the guys was wearing. He was also carrying pizza boxes, but it was all just a way to get inside the home.
When the two robbers rushed in the front door and attacked the resident's girlfriend, they had an M.O. even Seminole County investigators haven't seen before.
"Was dressed up with a Pizza Hut jacket and Pizza Hut hat," said Kim Cannaday, Seminole County Sheriff's Office.
When the woman came to the door, she saw the man with the pizza she didn't order, but when he mentioned her boyfriend by name, she let her guard down. He dropped the pizza and attacked.
"The two individuals brandished handguns, pushed her to the ground and made their way into the home," Cannaday said.
"They took XBox games, they took iPhones that I had, they took jewelry," the victim, who didn't want to be identified, said.
The man wasn't home at the time of the attack and said the intruders hit his girlfriend with a gun and forced her to duct tape her ankles and mouth before they made off with about $8,000 in property and cash.
The woman wasn't seriously hurt.
Investigators said they don't think the robbery was random, but the man insists he doesn't know who could be responsible.
"Can you think of anybody who'd want to do you harm or rip you off like that?" WFTV reporter Eric Rasmussen asked.
"No. I mean, all my close friends know me. They know I'm a good guy. I take care of my dad. It's not like I'm involved with the wrong people," he said.
WFTV learned that deputies found some marijuana in the house.
One suspect is identified as being white, 6-foot with a medium build. They're also looking for a black suspect, same height, but thinner.
